Phase 3: 75Hard — Day 2

Today is Day 2 of Phase 3 of Andy Frisella’s 75Hard Program. It’s been quite the ride. For Phase 3 you must do the following every day for 30 days otherwise you have to start the entire year over again.

The critical tasks each day for 30 days are as follows:

  1. 2–45 minute workouts. One of them must be outdoors.
  2. Take a progress picture
  3. 10 pages of reading (non-fiction and hard copy)
  4. Drink 1 gallon of water
  5. Follow a diet
  6. No cheat meals or alcohol
  7. 5 minute cold shower
  8. Random Act of Kindness
  9. Conversation with a Stranger
  10. 8 Power List Critical Tasks

For Day 2, I went for a 45 minute walk around Philadelphia followed by a 45 minute workout at the gym. For my conversation with a stranger, I introduced myself to our new security guard and spent 5 minutes getting to know her and sharing with her about the building and thanked her for being kind.

Then I offered to buy someone a free pizza for my random act of kindness. Nobody claimed it so I went out (in the rain again) and bought a homeless guy a coffee from Wawa. They make such good fucking coffee.
