Today is Day 5 of Phase 3 of Andy Frisella’s 75Hard Program. For Phase 3 you must do the following every day for 30 days otherwise you have to start the entire year over again.
The critical tasks each day for 30 days are as follows:
- 2–45 minute workouts. One of them must be outdoors.
- Take a progress picture
- 10 pages of reading (non-fiction and hard copy)
- Drink 1 gallon of water
- Follow a diet
- No cheat meals or alcohol
- 5 minute cold shower
- Random Act of Kindness
- Conversation with a Stranger
- 8 Power List Critical Tasks
Here’s a summary of my day with also some interesting insights I had at the end
1st 45 minute workout: walked my dog Peanut in Iowa outside of the hotel in the parking lot
2nd 45-minute workout: lifted in the hotel fitness center, swam laps in the pool, and then finished the last 20 minutes walking outside in the parking lot.
Random Act of Kindness: bought my dad a MEATER on Amazon. This gadget is amazing and he loves good steak.
My conversation with a stranger was the guy at the front desk of the hotel. He’s called the night time auditor. He was pretty stoked to share about his work. Wouldn’t shock me if I was the first person to ever ask him about his job and late night lifestyle. Today was tough. It’s almost 1 in the morning and I have been driving for 9 hours today and about 8 yesterday!
